Job Title: ICU Nurse
Location: Nagarjuna Hospital, Kanuru, Vijayawada

Job Summary
We’re hiring ICU Nurses to deliver hands-on critical care in a busy, 24×7 intensive care environment. You’ll provide monitoring, medication administration, and emergency support for critically ill adults and children, work closely with physicians and allied staff, and help maintain high standards of care and infection control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and ventilator parameters; report changes promptly.

  • Administer IV fluids, medications and drips; manage infusion pumps accurately.

  • Assist with emergency resuscitation, intubation support and ACLS/BLS protocols.

  • Perform routine ICU procedures (line care, suctioning, wound care) and documentation.

  • Prepare patients for procedures and support post-procedure recovery.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in the EHR.

  • Follow infection control, medication safety and ICU protocols at all times.

  • Mentor junior nursing staff during shifts and support team handovers.

Mandatory Skills

  • IV management and infusion pump handling.

  • Medication management and safe drug administration.

  • Clinical assessment and monitoring in critical care settings.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc Nursing / GNM (or equivalent).

  • Valid Nursing Registration Certificate (must be current).

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/critical-care certification preferred.

Personal Attributes

  • Calm under pressure, decisive, and team-focused.

  • Good communication with patients, families and clinical teams.

  • Able to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends.
