Visiting a Patient

At Nagarjuna Hospital, Vijayawada, we value the emotional and social connections that play a vital role in a patient’s recovery. The warmth, care, and encouragement from family and friends can greatly support the healing process. We welcome visitors during designated visiting hours to spend time with their loved ones. Our aim is to provide a supportive and compassionate environment for every patient — one that includes both expert medical care and the comfort of familiar faces.

At the same time, we are committed to ensuring that patients receive adequate rest, remain protected from infections, and that our sterile hospital environment is maintained. For patients in intensive care units, visiting access may be more limited, and we trust that you will understand these precautions. To safeguard the comfort and wellbeing of our patients, we have set clear guidelines for all visitors.

When you arrive, please proceed to the main administration area, where the reception staff will guide you to the patient’s room. This area is usually located near the hospital’s main entrance. If you already know the ward or floor, you may go there directly and check with the nursing station or ward reception to confirm if it is a suitable time to visit and to get the exact room details.
